Fefu & Her Friends Workshops & Performance

As part of a Sue Divan Graduate Student Fellowship, PhD student Laura Coby, coordinated a series of workshops exploring María Irene Fornés’ play Fefu & Her Friends. With the support of Dr. Sandra Ruiz, as producer through MAL, Coby was able to cast, rehearse, and direct a stage reading of the play. The one-night performance on April 30, 2023, was produced in collaboration with the Fornés Institute, the Departments of English and Theatre, and the Channing-Murry Foundation.
