Projects & Workshops

MAL hosts guest artists and scholars who explore minor aesthetics in their work. As part of these visits, MAL collaborates with the artists to bring workshops, talks, and live performance to the community that expand the dialogue and experience surrounding aesthetics. MAL also supports the work of students and community members working within these perspectives.

Fefu & Her Friends: Workshops & Performance

PhD student Laura Coby directed a staged reading of María Irene Fornés’ play Fefu & Her Friends, which was produced by MAL in collaboration with the Fornés Institute.

MAL hosted Raquel Gutiérrez, critic, essayist, poet and educator, for a series of readings, workshops, and seminars.
